As the blessed month of Ramadan approaches, Muslims around the world anticipate the opportunity to engage in heightened worship, devotion, and reflection. One of the most spiritually uplifting acts in this sacred month is I'tikaf, the practice of secluding oneself in the mosque with the intention of dedicating time solely to worship, Quran recitation, and remembrance of Allah.
